Announcing and Arranging for
On the morning of Monday, October 12th, Layne was scheduled to take his recently prescribed medication. His wife woke up to administer them, but found him breathing heavily. Shortly after he became unresponsive. His children performed CPR until the paramedics arrived, but all life-saving measures proved futile. Though he had previous health issues, there was nothing to predict this unfortunate situation.
Layne was a dedicated father and husband, and ministry was his life. He will be dearly missed. The family is devastated and they need our support during this difficult time. This fundraiser will help to ease some of the burdens they are now facing.
Their dad was the backbone of the ministry, driving them from state to state as they witnessed and ministered in song. His loss is not only deeply personal for the family but also affects the day-to-day foundation that helped keep The Chitans going.
Donations will help cover the hospital bills, funeral expenses and the family's other immediate needs as they navigate this loss. Every gift, no matter the size, can help relieve some of the financial pressure they are carrying right now.
Please consider giving or sharing this fundraiser to support The Chitans as they mourn their dad and face the days ahead.
